Music at New Life Church is varied and multi generational. We involve kids, youth and adults in our expression of thanksgiving and praise to a glorious and loving God. There are numerous opportunities for musicians and singers of all ages to be a part of corporate worship at New Life. The goal of all of our music is to worship God and encourage the worshipper to do the same.

Worship Choir (meets during the school year)

Meets on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:00pm and sings Sunday mornings at the 8:30 & 11:00AM Worship Gatherings. (Age requirement: High School Freshman to age 101).

Praise Band

Plays every Sunday morning at the 8:30 & 11:00AM Worship Gatherings with practices on Wednesday evenings. Instruments used are: piano, guitar, bass guitar, drums and percussion. Auditions are necessary.

Jazz Band

Practice varies from event to event. This unique group performs for activities such as “Jazzed-Up” Concert in the fall, Christmas Jazz during the Christmas season and various other special events throughout the year. Subs are also needed. Auditions are necessary.

“The Gathering”

Musicians meet on the 4th Sunday of each month during Life Application Hour (9:50 to 10:50AM) to pray, fellowship and network with fellow musicians from other churches

There are many other opportunities for both musicians singers to use their gifts to glorify our Lord and Savior...such as:

· Orchestra

· Worship team singing for Saturday or Sunday Worship Gatherings

· Special music pieces throughout the year.
