Vision: The New Life Youth Ministry exists to offer students opportunities to empty themselves in full surrender to Jesus Christ.  We do this so that our students become Godly men/women, husbands/wives, fathers/mothers, ministers, co-workers, bosses and friends.  We will be a place where the hurting and lonely are sought after and invited into a safe and accepting environment where they can experience the love of God through us.  AND we will be a ministry that goes out of our way to serve them.

Ministry Summaries

 

Small Group Ministries

 

WEDNESDAY - Grades 7-9 meet at the YMB, and 10^th grade meets in homes from 6:30 to 8:00 PM during the school year. We meet in small groups of guys or gals, divided by grade, led by godly, committed adult leaders. Contact Matt or Katie for locations on 10^th grade groups.

 

SATURDAY - Grades 11-12 are invited to worship together as a group at the 5:30pm service, and following the service, join the community events with the Catch 2:42 Ministry. Starting at 8pm, 11^th-12^th graders will meet in House Groups for guys and girls. Contact Matt for locations.

 

SUNDAY - Grades 7-12 meet at the YMB, for AWANA Trek and Journey from 6:30 to 8:15pm two Sundays a month during the school year. A typical night starts with games then moves into a teaching time, and handbook time. For further information, please contact Becky Bronson, 651 768-7959.

 

Sunday Morning Ministries

 

7^th-10^th graders Meet in room 231 from 9:50am to 10:50am. Here we dig deep into God’s Word and pull out lessons we need to follow in our everyday lives.

11^th-12^th graders Meet in room 134 from 9:50am to 10:50am with college and career adults to grow deeper together.

 

Ministry Trips

 

Houston Texas Spring Break Mission Trip - 7-9^th Grade (10-12^th Grade can apply to be Servant Leaders)

This trip, to the YWAM base in Houston, the “comfort zone” trip, we learn how to get out of our comfort zone and follow the Holy Spirit’s promptings. We find that when we do that, we see God work in amazing ways, IN and THROUGH us.

 

Arrowhead Bible Camp Summer Discipleship Trip - 7-12^th Grade

This trip, the “intense discipleship” trip, we spend the week focusing our hearts on the Lord through times of teaching, personal study, prayer, worship, service, discussion, and relationship building. We can’t spend a week of camp without enjoying God’s incredible creation through outdoor activities. The trip takes place in late June/early July for 8 days, watch for specific dates.

 

Panama Summer Mission Trip - 10^th Grade and up

This trip spends 16 days in July ministering alongside the Great Commission Church of Panama City.  Past ministry has included going to schools, orphanages and parks sharing the Gospel and the future looks to become even more effective in spreading the Gospel and building the local church.  This trip has been transformational in the lives of many young people and we look forward to see what God has in store in the future.
