Tuesday Morning Bible Studies
Time: 9:15 to 11:30am
Women, join us Tuesday mornings this fall we gather for Bible study, fellowship and prayer. Our time each week begins with the opportunity to worship together with other women. Some studies are in session, but new members are always welcome. There are new opportunities coming soon - watch for more information or email Lori Robey if you have questions on what is available at this time.
Current Studies:
Galatians & Ephesians
God’s Word: Electrifying! Enlightening! Enriching! Exciting! This will be a study using God’s Word directly as the text. A weekly worksheet will be completed together as a group for the first class, then you will have the opportunity to do further study on your own each week. Learn and apply how to study the Bible and hear from the Lord. You will learn to tuck the Word into your mind for recall as you face times where that passage is needed.
The Joy of Prayer (Author, Dr. Alvin VanderGriend)
The exciting sequel to the best-selling Love to Pray, this 40-day devotional will take you deeper into your prayer journey. Each day's reading unpacks a vital truth about prayer from Scripture. In The Joy of Prayer you will discover that:
- Prayer is the pathway to joy.
- God still speaks today, and we can hear Him.
- Prayer is a mighty weapon in defeating Satan.
- The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit pray with us.
- God takes pleasure in the prayers of His people.
Nehemiah
Beginning on February 28, a new study will begin with the Precept Upon Precept study of “Nehemiah-rebuilding, revival and restoration of the people of God.” This study will encourage you as we study rebuilding and revival through Nehemiah’s experience of hearing from God and rebuilding the Jerusalem walls. Nehemiah shows us leadership and obedience in the face of opposition, as well as God’s miraculous blessing and provision.
Child Care: Childcare is available for children while their mom attends a study. Children must be registered in advance, so please mention them when you register for your study. A rotating schedule will be planned for each Bible Study group to joyfully serve one another in love. A Bible lesson and project will be shared with the four and five year olds.
Worship: Tuesday mornings begin with the opportunity to worship together with other women. Enjoy a few songs together to prepare your heart for your Bible study of choice. If you play an instrument or sing but would rather it be for a smaller group, this is the place for you!
Email Lori Robey for more information.

Current Studies:
Becoming a Woman who Loves
``Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud....Love never fails.” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8) Jesus loved unconditionally, passionately, and sacrificially. How can we possibly love as He did? And what does such love look like? This study explores the incredible nature of Christlike love. Discover how to be sure such beautiful love resides deep within your soul and how to let it flow more freely to others as you become more like Jesus.
Beginnings
This 3-week class shows what the Bible says about the first steps of a relationship with God. Whenever we begin a relationship, we have certain expectations about what is required of us and how we can best enjoy the relationship. The same is true when we consider a personal relationship with God. Beginnings will explore three commonly asked questions: “How do I gain acceptance with God?” “Can acceptance with God be earned?’ and “Will God ever reject me?”
Family Night Supper: Each Wednesday evening from 5:00-6:15pm, a delicious meal is available in the Cafeteria. Bring the family and enjoy dinner with other families. Watch for each week’s menu and sign up in the weekly bulletin or call the Church Office (651/459-0444) for details. Reservations must be made in advance.
